ABOUT
​​Established in 1994 the Altona Lakes Golf Club was formed by a group of Saturday morning social golfers with a goal of offering the opportunity to play competition golf in an enjoyable club atmosphere at an affordable cost.
The club is affiliated with the Victorian Golf Association and a member club of the Victorian Golf League. The club competes in all VGL events as well as fielding teams in the Scratch, Handicap and Senior Pennant competitions.
The club recently part-financed the upgrading of the club facilities and has new clubrooms for member to use before or after a round to share tales of success, or valid reasons (some more than others!) why success did not eventuate! A new scoring system is also in place, which makes it easy for members to load their results, regardless of the outcome, at the end of their round.

The course is located in Paisley Park off Mason St. in Altona North is one of the most challenging nine hole courses in Melbourne.
